Espaldon Visits Instituto Cervantes
Senator Espaldon visited the Instituto Cervantes in Ermita, Manila to inquiry whether the Spanish government could assist Guam in its quest to build a Guam Museum. A significant portion of Guam's history is its relationship with Spain and the influence the Spanish had on our culture, customs and traditions. Espaldon met with Institute Director Jose Rodriguez to see what monetary assistance may be avialable or avenues that Guam could pursue in its quest to build a museum. Mr. Rodriguez provided background on grants that were available and provided leads to establishing a working relationship with national museums in Spain. |
